Incidents

An incident means a strategy block failed and the process stopped on it. Until the incident is resolved, the strategy does not move further along the diagram.

Why they happen

• Invalid block inputs — a required input is missing, a value has the wrong type, a variable is not found. The message lists the faulty inputs.
• Exchange error — the exchange refused the request or is down. The platform first retries the block up to three times.
• Unknown order outcome — the exchange did not answer when an order was sent. The platform does not retry such an order, so as not to open a second position.
• Expression error — a condition or FEEL expression cannot be evaluated.

Resolving

1. Open the run → Process incidents. It shows the block, the message and the inputs it failed with.
2. Fix the cause:
   • for invalid inputs — fix the diagram, save a new version and start the strategy again (the current run stays on its version);
   • for a temporary exchange error — just retry the block.
3. Click Resolve incident — the engine retries the block.

Unknown order outcome

Retrying does not resolve this incident: the platform does not know whether the position was opened and will not send the order a second time — the block fails again. Check the position on the exchange, close it there if needed, and stop the run.
