Send notification block

The block sends your text to the chosen channel. Today Telegram is available — the message goes to the Telegram ID in your profile.

Placeholders

Variable values are inserted with double curly braces:

Signal on {{strategyParams.symbol}}: close price {{klines[-1].Close}}

• the variable name is followed by .field or [index];
• a negative index counts from the end: [-1] is the last element;
• type {{ in the editor to pick a variable from the list;
• Preview shows what the message will look like.

The editor highlights mistakes right away: an unknown variable, a missing field, a list without an index, an unclosed placeholder and a message that is too long.

Backtests and Play

In backtests and in Play the text is only rendered — to catch placeholder mistakes — and sent to nobody.

Automatic notifications

The platform itself writes to Telegram when:

• an order is accepted and its Place order block has the telegram notification type;
• an incident is raised in the strategy’s process;
• a run or a whole account contour is halted by a risk limit.

Messages are written in the language chosen in your profile.
