Exchanges and API keys
The platform trades on your behalf through the exchange API. Keys are stored by the users service and used only for your runs’ orders, equity snapshots and position reconciliation.
Connecting
Section titled “Connecting”- Create an API key in your exchange account.
- In ALRADEX open Exchanges → Connect exchange.
- Pick the exchange, paste the API Key and Secret Key and click Connect exchange.
Once connected, the exchange card shows its accounts and equity. Equity comes from snapshots taken every 5 minutes, so the first figures may take a moment.
Contours: live and demo
Section titled “Contours: live and demo”Each exchange has two contours:
- live — real money, orders are executed on a real account;
- demo — the exchange’s sandbox, no real money.
The same keys reach accounts of both contours. Account risk limits, equity and the kill switch are set separately for each contour.
Default account
Section titled “Default account”In each contour one account is marked Default. Its keys are used to reconcile your runs’ positions with the exchange (open price, PnL and fees are refreshed every minute).
Allocated capital
Section titled “Allocated capital”When starting a demo or live run you choose how many USDT of the account the strategy takes. All allocations together cannot exceed the account’s free balance or, if the account limit Balance share for runs is set, that share. Percentage risk limits and the run’s equity curve are based on the allocated capital.
