Glossary

Strategy definition — a strategy diagram with a name, a description and a version history.

Version — an immutable snapshot of the diagram. New runs start on the active version.

Run — a working strategy with specific parameters, account and capital: demo, live or backtest.

Contour — a user’s exchange in live or demo mode. Account limits, capital and the kill switch are set per contour.

Default account — the account of a contour whose keys are used to reconcile positions.

Allocated capital — how many USDT of the account a run takes; the base for percentage limits.

Block — a diagram step executed by the platform: candles, indicator, order, notification.

Gateway — a diagram element that branches the flow on conditions.

FEEL — the expression language for conditions; lists are indexed from 1, [-1] is the last element.

Tick — one pass of the strategy loop: from the start back to it.

Play — running one tick in the editor with stubs.

Incident — a block failed; the process waits on it until it is resolved.

Halt — new orders of a run or contour are rejected after a monitoring limit or the kill switch triggers.

Reconciliation (projection) — periodic update of positions, prices, PnL and fees of trades from exchange data.

Equity snapshot — the capital of an exchange contour, recorded every 5 minutes.
